If you are hospitalized, it may cause difficulties or raise questions. There may be factors that can negatively affect your illness or condition or prevent recovery. Consider, for example, insecurities, tensions, fear or sadness. This can cause stress. An illness or disorder can raise questions about yourself, your relationship, family, household, work, study or about the financial consequences of being ill. In addition, the medical social worker can guide and advise you on aftercare. If necessary, the medical social worker can refer you to other emergency services.
